Frieda Tucker graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing/Midwifery from East Carolina University.
In her free time, Frieda enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. Frieda loves spending time outdoors gardening and hiking.

Carolyn M. Green, RN, CNM, MSN
Carolyn graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Fort Hays University in 1980. She also earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing/Midwifery from East Carolina University in 2004.
Carolyn has spent almost all of her nursing career in women’s health specializing in labor and delivery and prenatal care.
Carolyn plays piano and organ and shares piano/organ responsibilities at her church. She and her husband, Bob, have three children.

Jennifer Perry- Hidalgo, CNM
Jennifer Perry-Hidalgo is a Certified Nurse-Midwife who obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has experience working in private practice, public health, high-risk obstetrics, and academic settings. She has volunteered in women’s health care in Mexico, Central America, and Haiti, and is fluent in Spanish.
Jennifer and her husband have a son and a daughter. She enjoys running, international volunteerism and exploring the natural beauty of North Carolina.

Elizabeth Coats, RN, CNM, MSN
Elizabeth Coats graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned a Masters of Science in Nursing/Midwifery from East Carolina University. Prior to becoming a midwife, Elizabeth spent most of her nursing career in women’s health as a labor and delivery nurse.
She and her husband have three children. In her free time, she enjoys reading and being outdoors with her family and dog.

Stacia Friend, RN, CNM, MSN
Stacia is a Certified Nurse-Midwife who obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in May of 2020. She has experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse including high-risk obstetrics. She also has experience as a cardiac nurse and started her nursing career as the Director of Nursing at an outpatient surgery center.
She enjoys running, exercising, and staying active. Stacia is active in her church where she serves within the children’s ministry. Stacia and her husband, Perry, have two children. As a family, they love staying busy, playing sports, and spending time outdoors. |
