Tasty Mocktails for the Mommy-To-Be

Being pregnant comes with a lot of quirks, like being able to eat ice cream and pickles with peanut butter at 3:00 am. However, it can take some fun out of attending those holiday get-togethers with family and friends. While others are sipping on peppermint mimosas Christmas morning and champagne as the ball drops on New Year’s Eve, you don’t want to feel left out. Lucky for you, we found a few holiday “mocktails” that will get you in the party mood and ready to attend any holiday party before the year is up.

Cran-Raspberry Martini

Every good party has a martini. This is a simple yet easy twist on a classic cosmopolitan that will have your taste buds thanking you.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ½ cup raspberry flavored sparkling water
  • A splash of all-natural cranberry juice or cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 tablespoon crushed raspberries

For this drink, you simply combine the ingredients and then garnish it with some extra berries. 

Moscow Mule 

This drink is slowly becoming a crowd favorite with the younger generation. With this twist, you can add some festive flair to a classic for any type of occasion. 

Ingredients:

  • ½ club soda or other flavored sparkling water
  • ¼ cup ginger ale
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice 

Simply combine all the above ingredients and enjoy. You can even feel free to add a little lime for garnish on the side. 

Sparkling Soda with Fresh Fruit 

This is as simple as simple can get but it will have you thinking of those fancy drinks ou used to get while out for a night with your girlfriends. Just find your favorite sparkling soda, any flavor of your choosing, and garnish with either fresh fruit for instant flavor, or frozen fruit for a longer taste rush. You can either put the fruit at the bottom of your glass or slide on a skewer and garnish.
